About this site

Squawk is my own personal henhouse: portfolio and weblog.

I blog about topics such as graphics, typography or internet trends & developments. I often wrap these posts in the form of tips and guides and occasionally you will find some goodies, such as free Photoshop brushes.

I write for other graphic designers and web developers, but even if you are neither, don't hesitate to grab the RSS feed to stay up to date.

The portfolio section of this site showcases some of my work on the web and in print.

This site is fueled by Expression Engine Core and a couple of ideas that I usually get at around 3am in the morning. You can read more about the current version of the site in this weblog entry.

About me

My name is Dominik Lenk and I am a first year Graphic Art student at the Winchester School of Art.

On the web I am a standardista, aiming to create websites that not only look superb but are also accessible and use semantic, clean code that validates.

In real life (as well as on the web) I am a typophile and sometimes a plain old fashioned artist. (Some might argue that I am quite a friendly guy as well. Only some, of course.)

Freelancer & happy about it

I am currently available for freelance work. If you are interested in working with me, don't hesitate to send me an email and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
